Site Installation Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and technically adept Site Installation Engineer to join their growing team in Sunderland . In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing the installation of specialized equipment at various customer locations across the UK. You will ensure that all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, acting as the primary technical point of contact on-site. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of engineering principles, and the ability to manage projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the logistics and execution of equipment installations at client sites.
• Perform complex technical installations and configurations of machinery and systems.
• Conduct thorough site surveys to assess installation requirements and potential challenges.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Provide on-site technical support and guidance to clients and installation teams.
• Generate detailed installation reports and documentation upon project completion.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar site installation or project engineering role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and installation manuals.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities for client interaction.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK with occasional overnight stays.
