Our client is seeking a hands-on and reliable Site Installation Engineer to join their team in Portsmouth . This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful installation and initial setup of various systems and equipment at diverse client locations. You will be responsible for the practical execution of installation plans, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications. The ideal candidate is practical, organized, and committed to providing high-quality service in the installation & maintenance sector, serving businesses throughout the Hampshire region.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute on-site installations of equipment and systems according to technical drawings and project plans.
• Perform pre-installation checks, including site readiness and necessary preparations.
• Test and commission newly installed systems to verify functionality and performance.
• Identify and resolve any installation-related issues or defects promptly.
• Maintain professional conduct and ensure client satisfaction throughout the installation process.
• Submit detailed reports on installation progress, issues encountered, and completion status.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an installation, fitting, or hands-on technical role.
• Good practical skills with tools and equipment used in installations.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and diagrams accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Must hold a valid UK driving license for travel to sites around Portsmouth .
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures on construction or installation sites is beneficial.
