About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Site Installation Engineer to join their team in Glasgow , operating on a hybrid basis. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful physical setup and integration of our systems at client locations across Scotland. You will be responsible for meticulous installation work, conducting essential tests, and providing initial support to ensure systems function as intended. The hybrid nature of this role allows for focused on-site work combined with remote administrative and planning tasks, offering a balanced approach to managing installation projects and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the physical installation and setup of equipment and systems at client sites.
• Perform comprehensive testing and commissioning to verify system functionality and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve any hardware or connectivity issues encountered during installation.
• Ensure all installations adhere to company standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
• Provide basic operational guidance and handover to clients post-installation.
• Manage installation logistics and maintain accurate project documentation.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in installation and maintenance roles, preferably in the field.
• Strong technical aptitude with practical knowledge of relevant systems (e.g., electrical, mechanical, IT).
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Proficiency with relevant tools and equipment for site installations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site, with capacity for remote coordination.
