About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Site Installation Engineer to undertake projects across Edinburgh, Scotland . This role focuses on the precise installation and commissioning of complex equipment at various client sites, ensuring everything operates to the highest standards. You will be the primary technical representative on-site, liaising with project managers and clients to ensure successful project completion. This is a demanding but rewarding role for an engineer who takes pride in their work and enjoys seeing projects through from start to finish in the vibrant city of Edinburgh .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute the installation of equipment at client sites according to project plans.
• Ensure all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required technical specifications.
• Conduct pre-installation checks and site assessments to identify any potential issues.
• Perform system testing and commissioning, verifying functionality and performance.
• Troubleshoot any installation-related problems encountered on-site.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide progress updates.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an Installation Engineer or similar site-based engineering role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems relevant to the industry.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and installation manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
• Must be willing to travel extensively within Scotland and hold a valid driving license.
