About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Site Installation Specialist to join their team in the Southampton area. This role is integral to the successful deployment of our client's products and systems at customer sites. You will be responsible for the physical installation, configuration, and initial setup of equipment, ensuring it meets all specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate is meticulous, physically capable, and enjoys working in a hands-on capacity, contributing directly to client satisfaction and the seamless integration of our systems within the Hampshire region.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure equipment on-site according to detailed specifications and installation guides.
• Perform all necessary physical connections, including cabling and component mounting.
• Conduct initial system tests to ensure proper functioning post-installation.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations during installation activities.
• Document completed installations, noting any deviations or issues encountered.
• Liaise with project managers and clients to coordinate installation schedules and site access.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an installation role or a related technical field is advantageous.
• Ability to understand and follow technical diagrams and instructions precisely.
• Skilled in the use of various hand and power tools.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and manoeuvre equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must possess a valid UK driving license and be prepared to travel locally around Southampton .
