About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Site Installation Technician to contribute to their operations in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role involves the hands-on installation and initial setup of complex systems at various client premises. You will be a critical part of ensuring a seamless customer onboarding experience, working diligently to meet project deadlines and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving in a field-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission new equipment and systems according to project specifications and technical drawings.
• Perform system checks and initial configuration, ensuring all components are integrated and functional.
• Provide on-site technical support to clients during the installation phase, addressing any immediate concerns.
• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure timely completion of installation tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times during site operations in Newcastle upon Tyne .

Requirements

• Experience in technical installation, maintenance, or a similar hands-on role.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical manuals and installation guides.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to the installation process.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, often under pressure.
