About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and practical Site Installation Technician to join their field operations team servicing the Southampton area and surrounding regions. This role is hands-on, involving the physical installation of equipment and systems at various client locations. You will play a key role in ensuring that installations are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards, directly impacting client satisfaction and the operational success of the projects. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working on-site, has good manual dexterity, and possesses a foundational understanding of technical installations, contributing to a team that prides itself on reliability and precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical installations of equipment and systems at client premises according to detailed plans.
• Ensure all installations are completed accurately and meet project specifications and deadlines.
• Conduct basic testing and checks post-installation to verify functionality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on client sites.
• Report any encountered issues or challenges to the site supervisor or project manager promptly.
• Handle and transport equipment and tools responsibly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hands-on installation or assembly role is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and technical diagrams precisely.
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills for site coordination.
• A valid UK driving licence is essential for travel to various work sites in and around Southampton .
