Site Installation Technician

About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and technically adept Site Installation Technician to become an integral part of their Installation & Maintenance team in Portsmouth . This role demands a practical approach to installing and commissioning equipment at various client sites across Hampshire and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for ensuring that installations are completed efficiently, safely, and to the exact specifications required, playing a key role in delivering high-quality service to our client base. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys problem-solving on location.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installations of equipment and systems at customer premises according to project plans.
• Conduct initial testing and commissioning of installed systems to verify functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any installation-related issues encountered on-site.
• Liaise with clients and site managers to ensure smooth execution of installation work.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including installation details and any deviations.
• Adhere to all site-specific health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a site installation or field service role.
• Good understanding of mechanical or electrical installation principles.
• Ability to work with various tools and equipment required for installations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Must possess a valid driving license and be willing to travel to different work sites.
