Site Installation Technician

About the Role

Our client is looking for a reliable and skilled Site Installation Technician to join their team, primarily serving the Oxford region. This role involves the installation of various equipment and systems on client sites, ensuring they are fitted correctly, safely, and to the highest standards. You will work on diverse projects, requiring adaptability and a strong technical aptitude. This position offers a blend of on-site work and potential remote coordination, ensuring flexibility while maintaining operational efficiency across Oxfordshire and beyond. The successful candidate will be customer-focused and committed to delivering excellent workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission equipment and systems on client premises according to specifications.
• Read and interpret installation manuals, technical drawings, and site plans.
• Perform necessary modifications, connections, and testing to ensure optimal system performance.
• Ensure all installations are carried out safely and comply with relevant industry standards.
• Provide on-site support and basic training to clients on the use of installed systems.
• Maintain accurate installation records and report progress to the project management team.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an installation technician or similar hands-on technical role.
• Strong practical skills with a good understanding of mechanical or electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on site.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Must hold a valid UK driving license and be able to travel to sites in and around Oxford .
• Willingness to adapt to varying site conditions and project requirements.
