Site Management Tutor / Apprenticeship Tutor MadiganGill are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a college in Cinderford, GL14, helping to teach and mentor construction apprentices.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site Manager who wants to move away from full-time site work and pass their knowledge, skills and experience on to the next generation.

You do not need a teaching qualification to apply.

We will support you through the relevant qualification to teach in Further Education, and we will arrange the required DBS checks.

The Role: Teaching and mentoring construction apprentices in Site Management Delivering classroom-based and practical construction training Sharing your knowledge and experience from managing construction sites Delivering a structured scheme of work Teaching apprentices how classroom theory applies to real site situations Supporting practical training and development Teaching site management principles and safe working practices Helping apprentices understand site organisation, planning and coordination Teaching health & safety, quality control and site procedures Developing apprentices' understanding of managing subcontractors and site teams Supporting apprentices with construction programmes, documentation and day-to-day site management What We're Looking For: Strong Site Management background and genuine construction site experience Good knowledge of construction processes, site management and health & safety Experience managing subcontractors, site teams and construction activities Understanding of programmes, drawings, quality control and site documentation Someone who can confidently pass their knowledge and experience on to young people Good communication and people skills Patient, approachable and confident personality Ability to deliver a structured scheme of work Previous teaching, training, mentoring or supervisory experience would be an advantage Teaching qualification desirable but not essential Site Management experience is more important than teaching experience.

We are looking for someone with the practical knowledge and personality to teach apprentices what working on a real construction site is actually like.
