The job in a nutshell:

Essentially, your job will be to take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of major civil engineering and utilities works , making sure projects are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Depending on your experience, you could be working across water infrastructure projects or the BusConnects programme throughout Dublin and the Greater Dublin Area.

You'll manage site teams and subcontractors, coordinate labour, plant and materials, monitor progress, review drawings, oversee Health & Safety and quality, and liaise closely with Contracts Managers, engineers, clients and other stakeholders.

Projects can involve water mains, drainage, utilities, roadworks, reinstatement, ducting and major urban infrastructure works .

Should you apply?

We think experienced Site Agents, Senior Engineers or civil construction professionals with a strong background in civils, utilities, water, drainage or roads should apply.

You'll ideally have:

• Strong civil engineering / utilities experience
• Previous Site Agent or senior site delivery experience
• Experience across water, drainage, roads or utility infrastructure
• Experience managing multiple site teams and subcontractors
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and designs
• Strong programming and site coordination skills
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of project costs
• Strong Health & Safety / HSQE knowledge
• Full driving licence

A Civil Engineering qualification or equivalent would be highly advantageous.
