About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Site Manager to oversee construction projects in the Leicester area. This pivotal role involves ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality. You will be responsible for daily site operations, coordinating trades, managing resources, and upholding all health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans and schedules.
• Supervise and direct all on-site construction activities and personnel.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations and site safety protocols.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and labor to ensure efficient workflow and resource allocation.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and identify potential issues.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills .
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Relevant certifications such as SMSTS or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
