Site Manager - Groundworks
Location: Taunton Rate: £270-£330 per day (DOE) - Negotiable Start: Immediate Duration: 12 Months Minimum / Ongoing IR35: Outside IR35
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a very large and successful groundworks contractor on an industrial groundworks package in the Taunton area.
The project offers a minimum of 12 months' work, with further packages already available to move onto for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day groundworks activities on site.
- Coordinate site teams, labour, subcontractors, plant and materials.
- Ensure works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required standard.
- Monitor progress, quality and Health & Safety.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, engineers and wider site team.
- Work alongside another Site Manager to manage the package effectively.
Requirements
- Previous Site Manager experience within groundworks.
- Strong groundworks background, ideally on industrial projects.
- SMSTS - Essential.
- CSCS - Essential.
- First Aid at Work - Desirable.
- Other relevant tickets and qualifications are useful.
