Location: Eye, Suffolk
Rate: £350-£400 per day DOE (Outside IR35)
Contract Length: 4 Months (Potential Extension)
Working Pattern: Monday-Friday, Site Based
Site Manager - FMCG Extension Project
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a major FMCG extension project based in Suffolk on a 4-month contract basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of a high-profile construction project within a live operational environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with programme requirements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day site operations and construction activities.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Monitor project progress and ensure key milestones are achieved.
- Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
- Liaise with the client, project team, and stakeholders.
- Ensure minimal disruption to ongoing operations within the live facility.
- Maintain site documentation and reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Site Manager on construction projects.
- Previous experience delivering projects within live environments is essential.
- Background in one or more of the following sectors:
- FMCG
- Food & Beverage Manufacturing
- Cleanrooms
- Pharmaceutical
- Laboratory Facilities
- Healthcare/Hospital Projects
