We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee weekend construction works on a live food manufacturing/production site in Gloucester.
Due to the nature of the environment, applicants must have previous experience managing construction works within the food manufacturing, food production or similar hygiene-controlled industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing and coordinating weekend site activities
* Overseeing subcontractors and trades on site
* Ensuring works are completed safely and to programme
* Maintaining strict health, safety and hygiene standards
* Conducting site inductions, briefings and toolbox talks
* Liaising with contractors, client representatives and site personnel
* Ensuring RAMS and site documentation are adhered to
* Managing works within a live/operational food environment
Essential Requirements:
* Valid SMSTS
* Valid CSCS Card
* First Aid at Work
* Asbestos Awareness
* Temporary Works qualification
* Proven Site Management experience
* Previous construction experience within food manufacturing / food production environments
Ideally, we are looking for someone local to Gloucester or within a reasonable travelling distance, due to the weekend nature of the works.
