Site Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Site Manager to oversee operations at various construction sites in and around Coventry . You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of construction sites, ensuring that work is carried out safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of construction processes and health and safety regulations. You will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of projects, managing teams, subcontractors, and resources effectively to meet project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day running of construction sites .
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Develop and implement site execution plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, tradespeople, and labourers.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Liaise with project managers, architects, and clients to address site-specific issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and health and safety best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Relevant construction qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Site Supervision).
