Site Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a major refurbishment and construction project in Yeovil.

The project involves the full refurbishment and redevelopment of an existing building, including a new steel frame, extensive internal fit-out, roofing, foundations and groundworks, M&E installations and window replacement.

Key Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the project.

• Lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors across multiple work packages.

• Drive the programme and ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.

• Maintain excellent health & safety standards across the site.

• Oversee temporary works and ensure appropriate procedures are followed.

• Coordinate M&E, structural, groundworks, roofing and internal fit-out activities.

• Manage quality, inspections and site documentation.

• Liaise with the Project Manager, subcontractors and wider project team.

• Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager / Senior Site Manager.

• Strong refurbishment and construction experience.

• Experience managing multiple trades and subcontractor packages.

• Excellent health & safety awareness and leadership skills.

• SMSTS – Essential

• CSCS – Essential

• First Aid – Essential

• Previous experience with steel frame, fit-out, groundworks and M&E would be advantageous.

• Candidates must be able to meet any required project vetting/security requirements
