Site Manager – Groundworks & RC Frame

Location: Peckham, South London, SE15 5RS Job Type: Contract / Long-term Start: ASAP

Lonsite are looking for an experienced Site Manager to work on a busy construction project in South London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of groundworks and reinforced concrete frame works, ensuring the programme, quality and health & safety requirements are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Managing groundworks and RC frame activities on site

• Coordinating subcontractors, operatives and site teams

• Monitoring programme and daily progress

• Ensuring works are completed safely and to specification

• Managing RAMS, permits and site documentation

• Liaising with engineers, project management and subcontractors

• Carrying out site inspections and quality checks

• Coordinating concrete pours, reinforcement, formwork and associated groundworks

• Managing temporary works and sequencing of works

• Attending site and progress meetings

Requirements

• Strong previous experience as a Site Manager on groundworks and RC frame projects

• Valid SMSTS

• Valid CSCS

• First Aid

• Good understanding of RC frames, groundworks and temporary works

• Strong health & safety knowledge

• Able to manage subcontractors and site operatives

• Able to provide recent working references
