Site Manager – Smart Homes / Retrofit
Location: Scotland – travel required Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Job Type: Permanent
About the Role
We’re working with a growing business delivering smart home and whole-house retrofit projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee project delivery across Scotland and occasionally further afield.
This is a hands-on role managing site teams, subcontractors, materials and programmes while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day running and delivery of smart home and retrofit projects.

Lead and coordinate site operatives, installation teams and subcontractors.
*
Monitor programmes and ensure works are delivered on time and within budget.
*
Coordinate with senior management, project teams, procurement and suppliers.
*
Ensure materials and equipment are available when required.
*
Review and sign off RAMS before works commence.
*
Conduct regular Toolbox Talks, site inspections and progress meetings.
*
Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality and customer service.
*
Provide regular progress reports to clients and management.
*
Manage site-based personnel, including performance, attendance and productivity.
*
Liaise directly with customers to resolve issues on site.
*
Keep site documentation, training records and management systems up to date.
*
Stay current with relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards.
*
Apply knowledge of PAS 2030 and PAS 2035 and whole-house retrofit requirements.
*
Identify and resolve problems effectively, providing clear direction to site teams.
*
Drive continuous improvement across site operations.
About You
We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager with strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
You should have:
- SMSTS
- FIRST AID
- Valid Driving Licence

Previous site management experience within construction, installation, retrofit or a related sector.
*
Strong knowledge of site health & safety requirements.
*
Experience managing subcontractors and site team
