Site Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Manager to oversee a key construction project in the vibrant city of Aberdeen . This role is critical to ensuring that all construction activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, coordinating trades, managing resources, and ensuring project milestones are met on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed site management plans, including health and safety procedures.
• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality, adherence to specifications, and compliance with building regulations.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel, fostering a productive and safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, accident reports, and delivery logs.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities to address queries and ensure smooth project progression.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, health and safety regulations , and building codes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with project management software is advantageous.
