Site Manager - 3 weeks
Location: Houghton-le-Spring
Start Date: 9th September 2026
Our client is a well-established Retail and Commercial Contractor delivering projects across the UK with values of up to £15 million. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee M&E refurbishment works on an NHS Project based in Houghton-le-spring, Durham.
This role requires a proactive and organised individual with strong leadership skills who can effectively manage site operations, subcontractors, and health & safety compliance to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day site operations on M&E replacement Scheme
- Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are carried out in line with the project programme
- Maintaining and enforcing high standards of health & safety compliance on site
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- First Aid at Work CertificateAsbestos AwarenessStrong leadership, communication, and organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple trades and maintain programme deadlines
