About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Site Manager to oversee a variety of construction projects in and around Leicester . This role is pivotal in ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will be the main point of contact on-site, managing all aspects of daily operations, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for construction sites.
• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of all on-site personnel, including subcontractors and direct labor.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments.
• Manage material procurement, equipment deployment, and logistics to maintain project timelines.
• Maintain high standards of quality control throughout the construction process, addressing any defects promptly.
• Liaise effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities to ensure project objectives are met.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar construction management role.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Relevant construction qualifications or certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS card).
• Proficiency in project management software is advantageous.
