About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organised Site Manager to oversee construction projects in Aberdeen . You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role demands strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes and health and safety regulations. You will be the primary point of contact on-site, coordinating all activities and managing various stakeholders to achieve project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
- Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols, conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project management team to ensure seamless workflow.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to mitigate delays or cost overruns.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and quality control documentation.
- Ensure all work complies with building regulations, legal requirements, and client specifications.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar supervisory construction role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and health and safety legislation in the UK.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and project specifications.
- Relevant construction certifications or qualifications (e.g., SMSTS).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
