Site Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Site Manager to oversee and direct construction projects from inception to completion in Coventry . This hands-on role is crucial for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for managing site personnel, coordinating trades, ensuring health and safety compliance, and liaising with clients and stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to lead on-site operations for significant construction developments, contributing directly to the physical realization of architectural plans and client visions, while upholding the company's commitment to safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and oversee all construction activities on site, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
• Manage and supervise all site personnel, including subcontractors, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular safety inspections.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve site issues and ensure quality control.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and site records for project documentation.
• Manage site resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, ensuring efficient utilization.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS or equivalent certification are required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
