Site Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to provide short-term cover on a busy residential development in Taunton.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring works continue safely, efficiently and to programme while working closely with subcontractors and the wider project team.

Key Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day site management.

• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, labour and deliveries.

• Monitor progress and ensure works remain on programme.

• Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality.

• Ensure RAMS and site procedures are followed.

• Carry out regular site inspections and quality checks.

• Manage site logistics and sequencing of works.

• Liaise with the Project Manager and wider construction team.

• Maintain accurate site records, diaries and reports.

• Resolve any day-to-day site issues promptly.

Requirements

• Previous residential housebuilding experience – Essential

• Proven Site Manager experience.

• Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management.

• Confident managing subcontractors and multiple trades.

• SMSTS – Essential

• CSCS – Essential

• First Aid – Essential
