About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Manager to oversee a key construction project in the vibrant city of Aberdeen . This is a critical role responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will be the primary point of contact on-site, managing day-to-day operations, coordinating subcontractors, and liaising with project stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement detailed site execution plans, including health and safety procedures.
- Manage and coordinate all on-site activities, including labour, plant, and materials.
- Ensure strict adherence to building regulations, quality standards, and health and safety legislation.
- Supervise and manage subcontractors, ensuring work is completed on schedule and to specification.
- Conduct regular site inspections, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, safety logs, and delivery notes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role within the construction industry .
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project management principles, and health and safety regulations (e.g., CDM regulations).
- Relevant construction qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND in Construction, CSCS Black Card).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
