Site Manager - Commercial Fit Out

📍 Hereford 📅 Start Date: 1st September ⏳ Duration: 12 Weeks 💰 Rate: £280 - £320 per day (depending on experience) 🕢 Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a commercial fit-out project in Hereford.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day construction activities on site.

• Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and site safety procedures.

• Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks.

• Review and implement RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements).

• Carry out regular safety inspections and audits.

• Enforce PPE requirements and safe working practices.

• Coordinate subcontractor start dates and project activities.

• Monitor progress against the construction programme.

• Manage quality control and snagging throughout the project.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, landlords and building managers.

• Attend and lead progress and coordination meetings.

Requirements

• SMSTS

• First Aid at Work

• Own laptop

• Full PPE

• Previous commercial fit-out experience preferred

• Strong subcontractor management and communication skills
