Site Manager – Civil Engineering / Utilities
Salary: £60,000 DOE + £4,000 Car Allowance + Benefits
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a growing Land & Civils team, delivering a range of infrastructure and environmental improvement projects across the North West.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site Manager with a background in civil engineering, utilities, water infrastructure or process environments to take responsibility for the safe and successful delivery of projects from mobilisation through to completion.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Projects will include wastewater and water infrastructure improvements, process treatment facilities, storm overflow solutions and environmental improvement schemes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the safe and successful delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
Manage site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
Coordinate labour, plant, materials and site activities.
Ensure works are delivered to programme, budget and quality requirements.
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, environmental and quality standards.
Manage site documentation, permits, RAMS and progress reporting.
Work closely with Project Managers, Commercial teams, clients and other stakeholders.
Monitor progress and resolve any issues that may impact delivery.
Maintain high standards of site organisation and operational performance.
Promote a positive culture around safety, collaboration and continuous improvement.
About You
We’re looking for someone who has:
Previous experience working as a Site Manager within civil engineering, utilities, water or a similar infrastructure environment.
Strong understanding of site management and project delivery.
Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
Good knowledge of Health & Safety, RAMS, permits and site compliance.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and keep projects on programme.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive and collaborative approach to site delivery.
Relevant industry qualifications and/or Site Management qualifications.
