Site Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a dedicated and proactive Site Supervisor to oversee operations on various construction projects in Liverpool . This role is vital for ensuring that work on site is carried out efficiently, safely, and to the required quality standards. You will act as the primary point of contact for site activities, supervising tradespeople, managing daily tasks, and ensuring compliance with project plans and safety regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with practical construction experience to take on greater responsibility and contribute to the successful completion of projects in the Merseyside region.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily on-site activities, coordinating the work of subcontractors and direct labour.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on the construction site.
• Monitor workmanship and quality of construction, ensuring it meets project specifications.
• Manage site logistics, including material delivery, storage, and waste management.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for site personnel.
• Maintain site records, including daily logs, safety reports, and progress updates.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry .
• Solid understanding of construction processes, safety procedures, and quality control.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Relevant certification such as a CSCS card is essential.
• First Aid certification is a plus.
