Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee fire stopping and fire door works on site across the Midlands and North of England. The role is site based and will involve supervising operatives, coordinating daily works, monitoring quality and productivity, and ensuring installations are completed safely and in accordance with project specifications, manufacturer guidance and third-party certification requirements. Applicants should have proven experience working within Passive Fire Protection , with practical knowledge of fire stopping and/or fire door installations . Key Responsibilities
Supervise fire stopping and fire door operatives on site, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard, while monitoring daily productivity against planned works Deliver site briefings, toolbox talks, and daily instructions where required Carry out regular quality checks on completed and ongoing works, identifying defects or non-compliant installations and ensuring remedial actions are completed Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications, manufacturer guidance, relevant British Standards and third-party certification requirements Monitor operative performance, providing practical support and guidance to maintain quality and productivity Monitor site health and safety and ensure operatives follow company procedures, RAMS, and site-specific requirements Coordinate with the project team regarding materials, access and site requirements to minimise delays Maintain accurate site records, including progress updates, photographs, quality records and other required project documentation Report progress, quality concerns, delays and other site issues to the relevant Project Manager or Contracts Manager Maintain safe, clean and professional work areas and support the completion and handover of works by ensuring outstanding defects are closed out promptly Our Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion Global is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
