About the Role

Our client requires a diligent and hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations on construction sites in and around Sheffield . This role is crucial for ensuring smooth workflow, maintaining high standards of safety, and supervising on-site personnel and subcontractors. You will be instrumental in the execution of project plans, reporting progress to the Site Manager and ensuring that work is completed to the required quality and schedule. This is a key role for someone who thrives in a practical, on-site environment and is dedicated to successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, including managing trades and subcontractors.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations on site at all times.
• Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure it meets project specifications.
• Assist the Site Manager with site logistics, material handling, and equipment management.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for site personnel.
• Maintain daily site records and report on progress, issues, and resource requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry .
• Good understanding of construction processes, methods, and site management principles.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation relevant to construction sites.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and solve practical site problems.
• Relevant certifications such as a CSCS card are required.
