About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Smart Contract Auditor to join their security-focused team in Cambridge . In this role, you will be responsible for meticulously reviewing and analyzing smart contract code to identify vulnerabilities, ensure security, and verify compliance with best practices. Your expertise will be crucial in safeguarding user funds and maintaining the integrity of our client's innovative crypto and blockchain projects. You will work in a collaborative hybrid environment, contributing your sharp eye for detail to secure decentralized applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security audits of smart contracts written in languages such as Solidity.
• Identify potential vulnerabilities, bugs, and logical flaws in smart contract code.
• Provide detailed reports outlining findings, risks, and remediation recommendations.
• Develop and maintain audit methodologies and best practices for smart contract security.
• Collaborate with development teams to explain findings and assist in the remediation process.
• Stay updated on emerging threats and vulnerabilities in the blockchain ecosystem .

Requirements

• Proven experience in smart contract auditing and security analysis.
• Deep understanding of smart contract development, particularly on platforms like Ethereum.
• Proficiency in identifying common smart contract vulnerabilities (e.g., reentrancy, integer overflow/underflow).
• Knowledge of formal verification techniques and static analysis tools.
• Familiarity with security best practices and coding standards for smart contracts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail, suitable for a hybrid work setting in our Cambridge office.
