About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and experienced Smart Contract Auditor to join their security-focused team in Nottingham . You will be responsible for rigorously examining smart contracts for vulnerabilities, bugs, and potential security risks before they are deployed to production. This role is vital for ensuring the safety and integrity of assets and transactions within the crypto and blockchain ecosystem. You will play a critical role in safeguarding their clients' investments and maintaining trust in their decentralized platforms. The hybrid model offers a blend of office-based collaboration and remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth security audits and code reviews of smart contracts written in languages like Solidity.
• Identify, analyze, and document potential vulnerabilities such as reentrancy, integer overflows, and access control issues.
• Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies for smart contract security.
• Provide clear and actionable recommendations for remediation of identified security flaws.
• Stay updated on the latest attack vectors, vulnerabilities, and best practices in blockchain security .
• Contribute to the development of automated auditing tools and frameworks.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years specifically in smart contract auditing or blockchain security.
• Deep understanding of cryptography , security principles, and common smart contract vulnerabilities.
• Proficiency in Solidity and experience with blockchain development environments (e.g., Truffle, Hardhat).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically about potential exploit scenarios.
• Excellent report-writing skills, clearly communicating complex technical findings.
