About the Role
Our client is looking for a meticulous and security-focused Smart Contract Auditor to join their dedicated team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities and ensuring the security and integrity of blockchain-based smart contracts and decentralized applications. Your expertise will be vital in protecting our users and assets from potential exploits and ensuring the robustness of our platform. This position is based in our Sunderland office, requiring a dedicated presence to foster close collaboration with our development and security teams, ensuring the highest standards of code security.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security audits of smart contracts written in languages like Solidity, Vyper, or Rust.
- Identify potential vulnerabilities, bugs, and logical flaws in smart contract code.
- Perform static and dynamic analysis of code to uncover security risks and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Provide detailed reports outlining findings, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations for remediation.
- Stay current with emerging security threats and vulnerabilities in the blockchain space.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in auditing smart contracts and blockchain security.
- Proficiency in analyzing smart contract code for security weaknesses.
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology , Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), and common attack vectors.
- Familiarity with formal verification techniques and security analysis tools is a plus.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
