About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly detail-oriented and security-focused Smart Contract Auditor to join their team in Wolverhampton . This role is critical in ensuring the safety and integrity of the blockchain applications and decentralized finance protocols developed by the company and its partners. You will be responsible for meticulously examining smart contract code to identify potential vulnerabilities, bugs, and security flaws before deployment. Working within a hybrid model, you'll collaborate with a dedicated team of blockchain experts in the thriving Crypto & Blockchain sector, contributing to the trust and reliability of the ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive security audits and code reviews of smart contracts across various blockchain platforms.
• Identify, analyze, and report on vulnerabilities, risks, and potential exploits in smart contract code.
• Develop and maintain standardized auditing methodologies and best practices.
• Collaborate with development teams to provide actionable recommendations for improving code security.
• Stay informed about the latest smart contract exploits, attack vectors, and security trends in the blockchain space.
• Contribute to the development of automated security analysis tools where applicable.

Requirements

• Proven experience in smart contract auditing or security analysis within the blockchain space.
• Deep understanding of smart contract languages, particularly Solidity , and their common vulnerabilities.
• Proficiency with relevant auditing tools and frameworks (e.g., Slither, Mythril, Foundry).
• Strong knowledge of blockchain principles, including consensus mechanisms and transaction processing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to clearly articulate complex security findings in written reports and verbal discussions.
