Key Responsibilities

• Write, test, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts on various blockchain platforms, primarily Ethereum.
• Conduct thorough security audits and vulnerability assessments of existing and new smart contracts.
• Collaborate with blockchain architects and backend developers to integrate smart contracts into larger applications.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for smart contract functionalities and code.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards.
• Research and implement best practices for smart contract development and security in Sunderland .

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Smart Contract Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Solidity and experience with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
• Familiarity with smart contract development frameworks like Hardhat, Truffle, or Foundry.
• Understanding of blockchain principles, decentralized finance (DeFi), and token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721).
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing for smart contracts.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment in our Sunderland office.
