About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Smart Contract Developer to join their innovative team in the technology hub of Cambridge . In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying secure and efficient smart contracts on various blockchain platforms. You will work closely with architects and engineers to build the backbone of decentralized applications and protocols, playing a critical part in shaping the future of the Crypto & Blockchain industry. Key Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts on blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain).
• Write high-quality, well-documented, and thoroughly tested smart contract code.
• Perform security audits and vulnerability assessments of smart contracts to ensure maximum safety.
• Collaborate with product managers and frontend developers to integrate smart contracts into decentralized applications (dApps).
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in blockchain technology, smart contract languages, and security best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Smart Contract Developer or blockchain developer.
• Strong proficiency in smart contract programming languages such as Solidity or Vyper.
• Deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including consensus mechanisms and distributed ledger technology.
• Experience with blockchain development frameworks (e.g., Hardhat, Truffle) and testing tools.
• Knowledge of common smart contract vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques.
• Familiarity with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and token standards (e.g., ERC-20, ERC-721) is highly desirable.
