About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and define the architecture for smart grid solutions , encompassing smart metering, grid automation, demand response, and distributed energy resources (DERs).
• Develop technical roadmaps and strategies for grid modernization initiatives.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms for smart grid deployment.
• Collaborate with utility operators, technology vendors, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of smart grid systems.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering and development teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in power systems engineering, IT/OT integration, or related fields.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing smart grid technologies and architectures.
• Deep understanding of communication protocols (e.g., IEC 61850), cybersecurity for critical infrastructure, and data analytics.
• Experience with DER integration, microgrids, and renewable energy management.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
