About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Smart Home Technology Installer to join their growing team in Brighton . This role involves the installation and configuration of integrated smart home systems, including lighting, security, entertainment, and climate control. You will work directly with homeowners to implement customized solutions, ensuring seamless operation and user satisfaction. While client-site visits are frequent, the role also incorporates remote system diagnostics and client support. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, possesses excellent practical installation skills, and can effectively communicate technical information to non-technical clients. Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test a variety of smart home devices and systems, including audio-visual, security, lighting, and environmental controls.
• Program and integrate different smart home platforms and devices to work together seamlessly.
• Conduct thorough system diagnostics and troubleshoot issues, both on-site and remotely.
• Provide homeowners with comprehensive training on how to use and manage their smart home systems.
• Ensure all installations are neat, professional, and meet the highest standards of quality and client expectation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest smart home technologies and trends.

Requirements

• Proven experience installing and configuring smart home systems, automation technology, or related electronics.
• Solid understanding of home networking , Wi-Fi setup, and A/V systems.
• Proficiency with various smart home platforms (e.g., Control4, Crestron, Savant, or similar).
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for electronic systems.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to homeowners.
• Must have a valid UK driving license and be comfortable with a mix of on-site and remote work.
