Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care and support to clients in their own homes or residential settings, adhering to care plans.
• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication management, and mobility.
• Monitor and report on the client's well-being, escalating any concerns or changes in condition to the appropriate supervisor or healthcare professional.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with clients, encouraging their independence and social participation.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of care provided, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a social care or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and build rapport with clients.
• A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to providing person-centred care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and relevant training, such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
