Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care and support to individuals based on their care plans.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and record client well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the care manager promptly.
- Support clients in engaging with community activities and maintaining social connections.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of care provided in accordance with organisational policies.
- Collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a social care setting is highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable adults and promoting their independence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training and professional development, including mandatory qualifications.
- A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle may be required for some roles.
