Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals with diverse needs, including elderly individuals, those with disabilities, or learning difficulties.
• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
• Administer medication as prescribed, following strict protocols and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Support clients in engaging with their community, participating in social activities, and maintaining personal interests.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, observations, and any changes in the client's condition.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a social care or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent qualification, is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
• A strong understanding of safeguarding principles and a commitment to promoting the rights and dignity of clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and reliability.
• Willingness to undertake training and professional development opportunities.
