About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and engaging Social Media & Community Manager to join their marketing team in Sheffield . This role is central to building and nurturing our online community, managing our social media presence, and fostering positive brand interactions. You will be the voice of the brand online, responsible for creating compelling content, engaging with followers, and driving community growth. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand visibility, engagement, and community growth.
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content (text, images, video) across all relevant social media platforms.
- Actively monitor social media channels, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and authentic manner.
- Foster and grow online communities, encouraging interaction and user-generated content.
- Identify and engage with relevant influencers and brand advocates.
- Analyse social media performance metrics, reporting on key insights and recommending strategic adjustments.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging and integrated campaign efforts.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or Community Manager, preferably within e-commerce.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for creative copywriting.
- Experience in content creation (graphics, basic video editing).
- Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools.
- Ability to build rapport and engage effectively with online audiences.
