About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and dynamic Social Media & Content Creator to join their growing marketing team in Birmingham . This role is central to developing and executing engaging content across all social media platforms and contributing to broader marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and distributing high-quality content that resonates with our target audience, drives engagement, and builds brand awareness. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller with a strong understanding of social media trends and best practices, passionate about crafting compelling narratives that reflect the brand's identity and values.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter).
• Develop and implement a content calendar that aligns with marketing goals and campaign objectives.
• Monitor social media channels for industry trends, conversations, and opportunities for engagement.
• Engage with followers, respond to comments and queries in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm new content ideas and campaign concepts.
• Analyze social media performance metrics and report on key insights to inform future content strategy.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or Content Creator, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative work.
• Excellent understanding of social media platforms, their respective audiences, and best practices.
• Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, video editing software).
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools is a plus.
