About the Role
Our client is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media & Content Executive to join their dynamic marketing team in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, UK . This role is integral to amplifying our client's brand narrative across digital platforms, fostering strong community engagement, and driving traffic to their e-commerce channels. You will be responsible for creating compelling content, managing social media accounts, and contributing to the overall digital marketing strategy. This hybrid role offers the chance to work collaboratively in the office and remotely, balancing structured teamwork with personal flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a daily content calendar for all social media platforms, including Instagram , Facebook , TikTok , and LinkedIn .
- Create visually appealing and engaging content, including graphics, short videos, and written copy, that aligns with brand guidelines.
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends, competitor activity, and relevant conversations, proactively engaging with the audience.
- Respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner, maintaining a consistent brand voice.
- Assist in the planning and execution of paid social media campaigns, tracking performance and optimizing for results.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and generate regular reports to inform strategy and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation, preferably in an agency or in-house marketing role.
- Strong understanding of current social media trends, platform best practices, and audience engagement strategies.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling.
- Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) and video editing capabilities are highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
