About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and data-driven Social Media & E-commerce Analyst to join their team in Edinburgh . This critical role will focus on dissecting the performance of social media campaigns and e-commerce activities, transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for tracking KPIs, identifying trends, and providing recommendations to optimize engagement, conversion rates, and overall ROI. The ideal candidate possesses a strong quantitative background and a deep understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem, working closely with the marketing and e-commerce departments to enhance online performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze social media performance data to identify trends, measure campaign effectiveness, and provide insights for optimization.
- Track and report on key e-commerce metrics, including conversion rates, customer acquisition cost, and lifetime value, across social channels.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that visualize key performance indicators for social media and e-commerce.
- Conduct A/B testing on social media content, ad creatives, and landing pages to improve engagement and conversion rates.
- Provide data-backed recommendations for social media content strategy, advertising spend, and e-commerce website enhancements.
- Collaborate with the marketing and e-commerce teams to understand business objectives and translate them into analytical frameworks.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Marketing Analyst, or similar role, with a focus on social media and e-commerce.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and social media analytics platforms.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable.
- Excellent quantitative and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders in Edinburgh .
- Understanding of digital marketing principles and the e-commerce customer journey.
