About the Role

Our client is looking for an energetic and creative Social Media and PR Coordinator to join their dynamic marketing team in Sheffield . This role will be responsible for managing the company's social media presence, creating engaging content, and supporting broader PR initiatives. You will play a key part in building online communities, driving brand awareness, and generating positive media coverage. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital storytelling and has a knack for crafting compelling online narratives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement social media strategies across various platforms (e.g., Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram).
• Create engaging and shareable content, including text, image, and video posts.
• Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and manage online community interaction.
• Assist in the execution of PR campaigns, including drafting press releases and media outreach.
• Track social media performance metrics and generate regular reports.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on integrated campaigns and content creation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in social media management and/or PR coordination.
• Proven experience in content creation for social media platforms.
• Strong understanding of social media best practices and analytics tools.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with PR principles and media relations is a plus.
