Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Social Media Manager to lead their social media presence from their vibrant office in Southampton . You will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging social media strategies across various platforms to enhance brand awareness, drive community engagement, and support marketing objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for social media trends, excellent communication skills, and the ability to craft compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences. You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure social media efforts are integrated and aligned with broader campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with marketing goals and brand voice.
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and opportunities for engagement.
- Respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner, fostering community interaction.
- Analyze social media performance metrics, track KPIs, and provide regular reports with actionable insights.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on integrated campaigns and content creation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and emerging platforms.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful social media campaigns.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, their respective audiences, and best practices.
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and visual content creation skills.
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and how social media fits into the broader marketing mix.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects.
