About the Role

Our client is seeking an energetic and strategic Social Media Manager to join their marketing team in Portsmouth . You will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance brand visibility, engage our community, and drive traffic and conversions. This role requires a creative thinker with a passion for social platforms, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of social media analytics. You will work closely with the content and design teams to create compelling posts, manage online communities, and stay ahead of social media trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across key platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
• Create, curate, and schedule engaging and relevant content, including text, image, and video posts.
• Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and opportunities to engage with the audience.
• Manage and grow the online community, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
• Analyze social media performance metrics, track KPIs, and provide regular reports with actionable insights.
• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to ensure social media efforts align with overall business objectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing social media strategies that drive engagement and growth.
• Excellent knowledge of major social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices.
• Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
• Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
