Our client is seeking a strategic and creative Social Media Manager to lead their online community engagement efforts. This role involves a hybrid working arrangement, based in Edinburgh , allowing for both collaborative office-based work and remote flexibility. You will be responsible for developing and executing innovative social media strategies that build brand awareness, foster customer loyalty, and drive traffic and conversions. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across all relevant platforms.
- Create, curate, and publish engaging and high-quality content that aligns with brand voice and objectives.
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity.
- Engage with the online community, respond to comments and messages, and foster positive relationships.
- Analyze social media metrics and report on campaign performance, making recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure integrated campaigns.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in social media management , preferably within the retail sector.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns.
- Excellent understanding of social media platforms, best practices, and analytics tools.
- Strong copywriting, editing, and communication skills.
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing remote and office-based work in Edinburgh .
